Process Data Storage

Process data storage is program complex for gathering process information from GUS station by TPS DDE technology, creating history data archive and for processing, analyzing and playback information from this archive.
PDS works like PHD - hardware-software complex   (Process History Data) of Honeywell company. But PDS works on existing GUS station and doesn't use expencive hardware APP module.

PDS consists of the following components:

·          DDE data harvester – program for collecting process data and creating history data archive
·          History data processor – program for processing, analyzing, playback information from archive and creating reports
·          Tools for program adjusting (utils, group and diagram editors, etc.)

The following components collect and save process information in history data archive:

·          TPSDDE – client/server application of Honeywell company. TPSDDE server gets information from LCN network (point.parametr) and sends it to data harvester.
·          Process Data Harvester – gets information from TPSDDE and saves it in data archive.

TPSDDE server and Process Data Harvester can work on the same GUS station or on different computers. Besides Process Data Harvester can get information from two GUS stations for redundancy.

HDP – history data processor can work on GUS station, data storage computer or on any  computers conected by network to data storage PC. Data processor contains the following components:

·         Process trends – diagrams bilder can display, save, print, copy trends and analyze data.
·         Process viewer – process data playback on process displayes
·          Process values – program for retrieval of snapshot values, hourly and daily averages from history archive
·          Group Editor – tool for group creation
·          Display editor – program creates process displays for Process viewer
